Gorillaz – Jamie Hewlett – G Magazine with Poster, Stickers & Patch (2017)

This official Gorillaz G Magazine features Jamie Hewlett’s artwork from the Humanz era, with 2D, Murdoc, Noodle and Russel gathered around a leopard-print chair against a pink background.

The band’s first own-branded magazine, G Magazine was offered at the Gorillaz festive pop-up shop at 357 Portobello Road, West London, which opened on 1 December 2017. The shop coincided with the band’s return to London for two sold-out shows at the O2 Arena on 4 and 5 December, placing the magazine firmly within the Humanz tour period.

Combining Hewlett’s distinctive character design with the band’s humour and fictional world, the 36-page magazine includes 2D discussing his synthesizer collection, Noodle crate-digging, Russel talking ghosts and Murdoc sharing his guide to love. The four band members also interview their own co-creator, Jamie Hewlett.

This copy is brand new in its original wrapper and includes the original double-sided fold-out poster, sticker sheet and ‘Hand with the Rising Thumb’ woven patch.
